We are currently seeking a Senior Humanitarian Policy Adviser (Principled Humanitarian Action) to join our Humanitarian Policy Department, based at our central London office.

The adviser will develop, lead and implement BRC’s international humanitarian policy work with the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and the wider humanitarian community on civil-military relations and Fundamental Principles.

They will ensure specialist knowledge of the subject areas in order to influence work within and outside the Movement using a range of different approaches including high quality research, policy analysis and external representation.

They will also work collaboratively with colleagues in different departments in the International Division and Communications Department to ensure the development and implementation of policy agendas that draw on, and inform, the work of the Movement.
