Credit Controller Job – Sugarman – London

Location –London

Type –Permanent

Salary –£24,000 to £27,000 (Potential increase for exceptional candidate)

Commission – Monthly Targeted Bonus

Training –In house training and development

The Role

We are looking for an experienced in-house Credit Controller for our well structured Accounts Department. Someone who is hardworking, dedicated and looking for a long-term career in the finance/accounts sector. A person who has attention to detail and a quick learner.

Proven success in a fast paced company is a prerequisite for the job.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience at a similar company with specific experience in Credit Control preferably using Sage, Merit and or Credit Hound.

We are looking for a dynamic and fast thinking individual that is ready to take the next step in their career.

Roles and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Manage the outstanding balances due and contact clients before the balances become overdue to confirm payments


• Where there are overdue balances work with client to ensure payment will be made


• Where there are credit balances work with the client to ensure allocations are correct and process refunds if necessary


• Escalate with clients and consultants to resolve all queries which may arise and cause a delay in payment


• Collect and allocate all money received via BACS and cheque


• Prepare daily finance report
