The Client


Our client has been successfully placing legal professionals into In-House, Private Practice and Interim roles for the past 15 years. They have been responsible for a number of the biggest Partner moves across firms in their time in the market. As the market continues to boom, the demand for specialist legal recruiters is increasing and our client is looking for ambitious and driven candidates to be put at the forefront of their firm. Throughout your time in the graduate scheme you will spend 4 weeks with each specialist team, in order to gain an understanding of the firm’s structure. Our client wants these 6 graduates to eventually progress into management roles within 18-24 months, in order to build a strong management base as the company continues to expand. With offices globally including the UK, Europe, Asia, the US, the Middle East and Australasia, this role may also open doors to international opportunities in the future. For this reason, any languages (notably Mandarin, French, Italian and Spanish) are beneficial. You will be surrounded by like-minded and driven individuals, who follow a ‘work hard, play hard’ ethic – while you will be expected to put in the hard yards, the reward will be well worth it.


The Role


The graduate program will involve 12 weeks of training delivered by the firm’s directors and senior management. You will learn the full 360 recruitment process – you will start at a cold desk and be responsible for resourcing and qualifying high calibre candidates through CV searching, head hunting and job advertising. You will manage and conduct interviews with these candidates. After 3-6 months you will be expected to begin agenerating business by securing new clients and maintaining existing relationships. This role will require you to be punchy, ambitious and highly self-motivated.


This role offers an uncapped commission structure, on top of a competitive basic salary. Expected earnings in your first year will be up to £45,000 OTE. Other incentives include monthly Lunch Clubs, quarterly company holidays for top performers, and regular team drinks.
