The successful candidates will have a responsibility for delivering excellent train service performance across the GTR network. Key challenges of the role include:


Reviewing the daily train service plan and implementing any required changes due to fleet and crew availability.


Liaising with Network Rail to develop and implement on the day very short term train plans as necessary for train services in order to balance the fleet and crew to deliver the required daily timetable.


Working closely with Network Rail stakeholders to understand infrastructure restrictions and the impact on train services and developing and implementing alterations to train services to maximise the use of available network.


Lead and manage operational incidents within your geographical area, acting as the representative for GTR as appropriate, ensuring that services are restored to normal as quickly as possible.


Communicating to stakeholders and customers the impact of changes to the train plan in line with standards and processes.


Liaising closely with the Customer Experience team to ensure that customers needs and requirements are met during disruptive events. .


Continually improve the customer journey experience through taking ownership of key service groups and developing the process of service recovery and operational management as appropriate.


About You


You will need to possess and be able to demonstrate:
Several years’ experience within an operational environment, working within teams to deliver operational plans.


Proven experience of working within a highly pressurised and fast paced environment and a good knowledge and understanding of how to implement and utilise operational procedures.


Proven experience of working within a team to deliver joint goals and objectives.


Good knowledge of the railway network in the GTR network and an understanding of railway standards and processes.

Reporting to the QA Lead, you will be part of a team working on the full development lifecycle. You will be highly skilled agile tester with expertise in writing automated tests using Selenium Webdriver(C#). You will own testing for your scrum team which includes manual testing and writing automated tests.


Where sensible you’ll develop automated tests and work with the team to make sure we have the right unit and integration test coverage. You’ll also help the team to establish and maintain best practices for testable software.


Being such an awesome tester, you’ll run tests yourself and find the trickiest bugs.


You’ll be joining one of several cross-disciplinary teams, observing the agile Scrum methodology and working closely with the QA team, UX, UI, developers, DBDs, Front-end (HTML/CSS) experts, Scrum Masters, Product Owners and, just occasionally, with Marketing.


What you’ll need


  • Experience with web testing including functional and API testing

  • Experience in agile methodologies (e.g. scrum, kanban)

  • Experience of exploratory testing

  • Experience with Regression testing and User Acceptance Testing

  • Ability to delegate testing and motivate

The primary focus of this role will be to work in our database team. The team work as part of one of several cross-disciplinary teams, observing the Agile Scrum methodology and working closely with C# developers, Front-end (HTML/CSS) experts, Scrum Masters, Product Owners and, just occasionally, with Marketing.

You will be working on a range of databases and stores such as Microsoft SQL Server, Amazon Redshift, Postgres and Redis, as well as prototyping and trialling on the newest technology like HDInsight (Hadoop on Microsoft Azure), Google BigQuery and Amazon’s Elastic MapReduce. You will also be working with third party databases such as Google Analytics, emailing service provider (ESP) databases and Salesforce.

  • Working closely with Network Rail stakeholders to understand infrastructure restrictions and the impact on train services and developing and implementing alterations to train services to maximise the use of available network.

  • Lead and manage operational incidents within your geographical area, acting as the representative for GTR as appropriate, ensuring that services are restored to normal as quickly as possible.

  • Communicating to stakeholders and customers the impact of changes to the train plan in line with standards and processes.

  • Liaising closely with the Customer Experience team to ensure that customers needs and requirements are met during disruptive events. .

  • Continually improve the customer journey experience through taking ownership of key service groups and developing the process of service recovery and operational management as appropriate.

About You


You will need to possess and be able to demonstrate:


  • Several years’ experience within an operational environment, working within teams to deliver operational plans.

  • Proven experience of working within a highly pressurised and fast paced environment and a good knowledge and understanding of how to implement and utilise operational procedures.

  • Proven experience of working within a team to deliver joint goals and objectives.

  • Good knowledge of the railway network in the GTR network and an understanding of railway standards and processes.

  • A strong leader, able to influence and persuade key stakeholders to deliver the best service and performance levels across the GTR network for customers.

For our client, we are looking to build a team of dynamic sales people for a growing company in an exciting and fast moving sector. The company you would be working for are involved in the Investment sector which is heavily expanding currently due to the increasing demand for better returns on financial investments. Bank based investments have now been for years under performing and the products you will be selling offer the opportunity for investors to see higher returns.


The products you will be involved in selling are a range of Investment opportunities designed to offer the investor a potential return that may outperform what they are currently receiving. The company offers a range of collectable investment items such as Art, Rare Coins, Fine Wine, Vintage Stamps and Antique Furniture. All of these products are bought on an investment basis and therefore designed to appreciate in value for the investor to make a return. Please bear in mind that knowledge of these specific products is not essential as full training will be given.


Based from the company’s main trading offices in Croydon (Greater London), we are looking to bring on board a whole team of exciting new sales people to join the expanding business. Necessary skills are a natural sales ability, customer service, consulting, an interest in finance and clear communication.


As well as your salary, On Target Earnings will be – 1st Month £1,000+. 2nd Month – £1,500+. 3rd Month – £2,000+. Most experienced consultants in the company earn upwards of £5,000 per month! Make no mistake, many earn £20,000 in their first year, some earn over £100,000, the difference being that if you are someone who understands high rewards come from hard work then you will be in control of your own uncapped earnings.


You will be paid a standard salary plus seriously high uncapped sales commissions designed to reward those sales people that are willing to put in the hard work in order to receive high rewards! So if your focus is on the basic salary instead of the potential salary, then you are not for us.


In terms of Job Role and environment, you will:



  • Be making sales calls to current and potential investors every day, all provided for by the company through advertising and marketing campaigns




  • Be put through expert training in order to gain a thorough understanding of the markets, products, opportunities, and more so that you can quickly become a financial professional




  • Be part of a large and growing team of professional, competitive and enthusiastic trainee and senior consultants




  • Be expected to introduce, advise and develop client investment portfolios on an on-going basis

There is already an existing client base but business development will be an important focus of your role.


This Cordant Care will provide a fantastic opportunity for career progression in the next 12-24 months due to the rapid progression plans.


You’ll be expected to provide a Residential Care recruitment solution to a number settings, understanding your clients needs in order to provide a tailored and compliant solution to build new business.
