Service Team Leader
Homebase – now part of Bunnings, a leading retailer of home improvement and outdoor living products in Australia and New Zealand – is recruiting for a Service Team Leader to join us at our store in London Wimbledon. We want to be known for lowest prices, widest range and best service, which is where we hope you can play a part.
This position is a full time position of 39 hrs and will include working evenings and weekends.
As a Service Team Leader you will support the store operation by leading a team of colleagues to ensure the highest standards of customer service and store operating practices are achieved at all times and ensuring the workplace is maintained in accordance to company guidelines.
If you are successful in joining us your role will be varied as you will:
Need to ensure all areas of the store, e.g. check outs, helpdesks are well presented and ready to assist customers in having a great shopping experience
To ensure the store is well presented in readiness for customer trading
Recruit, schedule and train colleagues effectively to support and deliver the best in-store experience for customers
Take personal responsibility to protect the safety of our customers, colleagues and the Company
In order to succeed in this role, you need:
A minimum of 1 years supervisory experience preferably in a retail environment
Adaptable and excellent communication skills enabling a positive land of any message to any audience
To be great at problem solving and have a logical mind, with a proven ability to implement process and procedure
An ability to work methodically, under pressure and have a firm understanding of workload planning and organisational skills
A passion around striving for excellence of standards, people and process
Confidence to drive a team with authority and respect and engagement
