Early Help Senior Family Practitioner

Band 3 Level 2 £31,635 – £37,629

The Westminster Early help Service is well established and contributed to the recent outstanding Ofsted rating. Its aim is to provide effective earlier interventions which improve outcomes for vulnerable children and young people and prevent escalation into specialist services.


Following a reorganisation we are looking to appoint a dynamic and committed senior early help family practitioner to support the development of our locality based early help services The work will demand a creative and flexible approach, working with colleagues in Early Help and across Family Children’s Services and partner agencies to provide interventions which will improve outcomes for vulnerable children young people and their families and prevent more specialist interventions being required. This is an opportunity to develop innovative new ways of working and contribute to the development of our Focus In Practise programme.


We are looking for an experienced senior worker who can provide supervision to staff lead and motivate a team as well as carrying a caseload of more complex families and be a as well as being part of a wider multi agency team. You will be aspirational in your work with children, young people and their families and promote a whole family approach. Experience of managing staff and casework supervision is essential for this role.
