Data Analyst/ Business analyst – London – 3m – £450

Role is:

We are looking for a Business Analyst with a data analysis background, who is able to look at data sets and interpret and question data, clean data sets and complete missing data. Working closely with a mix of stakeholders and being confident to include findings in senior stakeholder’s presentations is also important, as the role will be quite varied.

BA will work with in the project team, liaising with various business areas. They will be looking at the current system tha have been built, will be reviewing the dat, work with other government departments to complete, correct and identify the data gaps.

Will be expected to liaise with data providers at various levels, therefore they will need to be relatively confident as will be dealing with various people at all levels.

– confidently dealing with stakeholders at various levels

– Must have good collaboration skills as will be required to work across multiple businesses

– Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel or similar tools (Google sheets) for presenting and manipulating data including generating pivot tables, writing formulas and using conditional formatting

– ability to think laterally and problem solve

Desirable

– familiarity with reporting in Salesforce

– Ability to quickly understand technical systems and how they interact with the business

– previous experience of change or transformation projects

– good planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and adapt to a demanding and varied workload

– attention to detail with an ability to maintain this when working under pressure
