QA Analyst




QA Analyst: up to £45,000 depending on experience. 


You hate Mondays because you hate your job. You should be a QA Analyst


We’re looking for talented, enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join us on our mission to help the world love Mondays.


What you’ll do.


Reporting to the QA Lead, you will be part of a team working on the full development lifecycle. You will be highly skilled agile tester with expertise in writing automated tests using Selenium Webdriver(C#). You will own testing for your scrum team which includes manual testing and writing automated tests.


Where sensible you’ll develop automated tests and work with the team to make sure we have the right unit and integration test coverage. You’ll also help the team to establish and maintain best practices for testable software.


Being such an awesome tester, you’ll run tests yourself and find the trickiest bugs.


You’ll be joining one of several cross-disciplinary teams, observing the agile Scrum methodology and working closely with the QA team, UX, UI, developers, DBDs, Front-end (HTML/CSS) experts, Scrum Masters, Product Owners and, just occasionally, with Marketing.


What you’ll need


  • Experience with web testing including functional and API testing

  • Experience in agile methodologies (e.g. scrum, kanban)

  • Experience of exploratory testing

  • Experience with Regression testing and User Acceptance Testing

  • Ability to delegate testing and motivate

  • Experience with defect logging, escalation and monitoring

  • Experience in designing, developing and maintaining automated scripts for black and white box tests

  • Ability to establish a technical understanding of the system under test

  • Experience managing the execution and reporting of automated test suites

  • Ability to collaborate with and present improvement and ideas to other members of the test team

Other desirable skills


  • Exposure to source control (git)

  • Programming experience

  • Understanding of what API testing is

  • Experience testing mobile apps (IOS, Android)

  • Exposure to Selenium Webdriver

  • Familiarity with BDD

  • Use of Jira

  • Ability to dodge nerf bullets

  • Awesomenauts league 1
