A part time Financial Controller job in Central London paying £70,000, responsible for the financial matters of this property investment company.

An award winning property investment business that focuses on the whole residential sector, leveraging their expertise to also support the rapidly expanding student accommodation sector as well as PRS and mixed use in London. It has achieved fast growth through precise delivery of strategy and hard work and is looking to go through an IPO in the short term; due to this growth the job vacancy has come about.

Your new role
Reporting to the COO, you’ll take control of a finance function that plans to expand, and one that will require leadership through the continued growth of the company. With support of this team and technical experts, your responsibilities involve everything from the production of monthly management accounts and packs, in addition to the budgeting and forecasting process. Ad hoc responsibilities will have you liaising with auditors, tax reporting and offering strategic financial advice to the COO and senior management team.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will have a sound technical understanding from completing your ACA, ACCA or CIMA accounting qualification, and experience of working in a small to medium sized business to comprehend the full reporting process. Importantly you will also have sound knowledge of the real estate industry, in particular the development of property in London. Ideally you will also have demonstrable agility across a number of accounting and IT systems, notably Sage.
