Office Administrator Job Description
The ideal candidate will have some previous Office Administration experience and will be exceptionally organised. Prioritising and multi-tasking will be second nature and you will have a high level of accuracy with great attention to detail. Microsoft Office skills are essential, as are good written and verbal communication skills. You will be friendly, punctual and proactive.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Welcoming clients, preparing meeting rooms and refreshments;
- Answering the phone, take messages, transferring calls to relevant staff;
- Organising the clients/ company lunches and events if required;
- Keeping admin records up to date, paper and computer based;
- Verifying and issuing the entry cards for new employees and business visitors;
- Using Office Equipment, such as printers, photocopiers, scanner;
- Create and introduce the office induction pack for new staff;
- Responsible for Health and Safety/ First Aid, Fire Safety procedures;
- Organising weekly/monthly office deliveries ( milk/water/snacks);
- Dealing with office suppliers ( cleaning, printers, water, milk; building management, etc) and reviewing contracts/ renegotiations;
- Keeping the office tidy;
- Helping with the marketing events;
- Booking couriers and coordination of taxi services;
- Sorting and distributing incoming post;
- Ordering all office stationery supplies and ensuring supplies are well stocked;
- Kitchen maintenance;
- Travel arrangements as requested;
- Ad hoc tasks;
The candidate will be eligible to work in the UK.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday
9am-3pm (flexible)
