SENIOR RECRUITMENT CONSULTANT / MANAGER - LEGAL PRIVATE PRACTICE





Respected Legal recruitment firm based in London, and is urgently recruiting for a Lead Consultant / Manager to help develop their Private Practice business.


Our client is privately owned, boutique consultancy and a market leader within the London legal recruitment. They urgently require an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant / Lead Consultant / Manager to assist in their Private Practice, to leverage an established client base with existing relationships. The role of Managing / Lead Recruitment Consultant – Private Practice will involve leading from the front helping develop both new and existing clients across the UK & wider International Legal Private Practice space.


THE PERSON:


– Experienced Recruitment Consultant with a proven record of billings.
– You will ideally have experience within legal recruitment, or similar professional services recruit within Accountancy or Management COnsulting.
– Managing / Lead Recruitment Consultant must have experience within Permanent recruitment
– A keen interest within your specialist vertical will strengthen your application
– You will need to be patient, pragmatic, and be able to hold your nerve
– You must have the ability to network, build relationships, and business development
– Must have a thorough, organised approach to recruitment, and a consultative nature
– Must possess excellent communication skills, and a polished presentation

THE ROLE:


– To lead a permanent Legal Private Practice desk, with established client relationships to leverage from.
– This role will involve placing qualified Legal professionals into UK and International clients across Magic Circle, Silver Circle and other Legal 500 firms.
– This is to a degree a 360 role i.e. client development, client visits, candidate sourcing, interviewing candidates you will be supplied with a Resourcer to assist in generating candidates.
– The desk is warm, and has established clients but you will need to undertake some new business development.


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


– Developing business with new clients over the telephone
– Arranging and attending business meetings with new and existing clients
– Maintaining effective working relationships with existing clients and identifying opportunities for further business
– Sourcing candidates to match client recruitment needs
– Searching for suitable candidates to match to registered vacancies as directed by our client, including advertising vacancies in a professional and attractive manner.
– Daily screening of newly registered job seekers to add to company database and match to registered vacancies
– Undertaking candidate searches via the internal and external databases, professional networking platforms like LinkedIn and other Social media sites.
– Vetting candidates with the aim to ascertain their suitability for registered vacancies.
– Professional presentation of tailored CVs
– Producing and managing effective advertising for registered vacancies
– Generating high quality communications such as CVs, emails and letters.
– Answer, screen and transfer inbound telephone calls, take and pass on relevant messages and present an excellent image of the company in doing so.
– Resolve administrative problems and enquiries and give written and oral responses to routine enquiries received from external parties.
– Negotiating offers between your clients and candidates

PACKAGE:


Basic upto £55k
OTE c. £100k+

WORKING WEEK:


37.5 hrs / week, 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
