Assistant Merchandiser
Supporting the merchandiser and the company directors to make strategic decisions.
The merchandising team is responsible for making sure that the right stock is in the right store at the right moment across all of the different stores.
In this role you will help to analyze sales information and assist the implementation of ways in which to increase company profits.

Our client is a successful, independent, creative thinking, family run business with a growing portfolio of 14 own brand stores, a rapidly expanding e-Commerce store & over 120 wholesale stock lists targeting the discerning, free-spirited woman who appreciates quality & style over trend-led fashion and they are looking for an assistant merchandiser to join their team.
Description
The role of Assistant Merchandiser involves:
Assist the Merchandiser in the creation of seasonal budgets
Generate weekly trade reports on key areas
Propose and react to performance to drive sales and optimize stock holding
Produce ad hoc reports
Ensure accurate delivery schedule is maintained
Oversee initial allocations on Excel for input by MAA onto system
Profile
The perfect applicant for the assistant merchandiser role will
Be able to allocate stock to stores and analyze sales figures
An ability to relate to the product and understand what the customer needs
The ability to work well in a team
To be well organized and good at strategic planning
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Advanced skills in MS Excel including advanced formulas
Confident in liaising at all levels of the business
Ability to influence and feedback when appropriate
Fashion focused
Able to commute to London
Job Offer
