Location: RICE Centre, Bath (on the Royal United Hospital site)
Hours: Normally Monday-Friday 9.00 – 5.00 p.m. Some flexibility is required.


RICE is an internationally renowned dementia research and treatment centre, and an independent registered charity dedicated to essential research and providing support for people with dementia and other diseases predominantly affecting older people, their families and carers. In 2015 we embarked on an ambitious new phase of our development which includes plans to increase significantly our clinical and academic research programme.  We work closely with the Universities of Bath, Bristol and other research institutions.


An enthusiastic  psychologist is sought to participate in projects and work within RICE’s memory clinics and established research programmes.  We require a good honours degree in psychology (2.1 or above) and ideally experience in neuropsychological assessment and working with people with dementia.  You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and have opportunities to contribute toward research projects in a number of areas under the supervision of the RICE research team. As a part of this role, you will be involved in clinical trials where you will administer standardised assessments of memory and cognition.
