Secondary Humanities Teacher | Religious Education Teacher | East London

A Secondary Humanities Teacher is needed for a Religious Education post available on a perm contract starting in ASAP / April 2016 and is the perfect opportunity to join an outstanding school based in East London.

Are you an experienced Humanities teacher with a specialism in Religious Education, can you teach and deliver outstanding lessons at all key stages including A Level?

This Humanities Teacher position will allow you to teach Religious Education to pupils at all levels, KS3,4 and 5. You will form part of a successful team who have created a number of schemes that you will use and also develop yourself.

This Ofsted ‘Good’ school caters for around 1000 pupils who’s aim is to provide a challenging and stimulating environment where pupils are fully engaged and make continued progress. A current member of staff has said that, ‘the school is fully aware of the progress pupils are making and are encouraged by the way staff and all departments have played a major part in this’.

Located within the London Borough of Tower Hamlets within easy reach of a number of tube services including Central Line and overground rail services. The school is located within London Travel Zone 3

To join the QT community and be successful in this Religious Education/Humanities Teacher role you will need to:
*Hold QTS or equivalent qualifications that allow you to be placed in schools
*Have effective classroom management
*Build and develop professional relationships with both school staff and students

This Religious Education Teacher is offered on a permanent basis at Main or Upper Pay Scale – Inner London.
