Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk - immediate start





Our client is a very well established and growing print solutions business. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk for their busy London head office finance team.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES


• Ensuring Purchase Ledger transactions are accurately entered onto accounting software


• Mentor  Purchase Ledger Clerk


• Answer Incoming Calls


SPECIFIC DUTIES


1. Mentor current Purchase Ledger Clerk, advising them of correct processes/procedures with regards to treatment of Purchase Ledger items.


2. Prepare credit payment schedules (bi-weekly)


3. Matching Purchase Ledger Invoices with associated purchase order/paperwork.


4. Post Purchase Ledger Invoices/Credit Notes and Payments on a daily basis (up to 2000 per month split across three companies).


5. Create and maintain records in accounts software.


6. Scan Purchase Invoices into document management system no longer than a month after month end.


7. Answer incoming calls and deal with accordingly.


8. Reconcile Supplier accounts against Supplier statements (monthly).


This is a busy role within a friendly, lively team environment.  


The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a senior AP position, ideally within a sales environment.
