Customer Service Assistant

BP Retail is currently going through a nationwide transformation as we continue to integrate our partner brand, Marks and Spencer Simply Food into an increasing number of our forecourts. 


As a BP Retail Customer Service Assistant, you’ll be ensuring a first class shopping experience is provided to every single customer.  You will provide a friendly and helpful service to customers managing any customer complaints that arise with politeness and to the customers’ satisfaction.  You will work in all areas of the store including the Wild Bean Café managing the delivery process for stock, ensuring stock levels are maintained, operating the tills and assisting with the training and support of other team members.


You will take a proactive approach to store meetings providing and discussing any ideas or initiatives you feel could help to maximise sales opportunities and improve the performance of your store. 


If you are looking to progress into a management position, you will work closely with the store manager to agree your training and development needs to help you achieve your goals.

The Person


You will ideally have experience within retail however this is not essential at all.  Most importantly you will possess exceptional customer service skills and be naturally polite, friendly and helpful. 


As part of the role involves working with fuel, you will need to be 18 years or over to be considered for these opportunities.
