The Primary Care group within the Primary Care and Population Sciences Academic Unit is offering a one year post-doctoral or doctoral level ‘seed corn’ or ‘bridging’ fellowship for primary care scientists, funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) School for Primary Care Research (SPCR: http://www.spcr.nihr.ac.uk/). The fellowship will fund a primary care scientist with the potential to develop towards becoming an independent investigator, and who is conducting research related to one of the themes of the Primary Care group, while they develop an application for a national research training fellowship. We welcome applications from individuals from a range of backgrounds including clinical work in primary care, health services research, health economics, medical statistics, medical sociology, health psychology, complementary and alternative health care, human geography, anthropology, or other relevant disciplines.

The successful candidate will need to take up the post from 3rd October 2016. The post is funded for up to one year, either full or part-time.
