Argos are looking for an experienced automation test engineer to join its Checkout team. Checkout is where the magic happens and the customers place the order for their purchase, decide on how to receive their goods and get that warm fuzzy feeling of a successful spending spree. We want someone who’ll join the team in owning the quality, improving our automated process and is experienced in mentoring others in test automation.

Testing in Checkout includes responsive Javascript website testing, testing java based 3 tier systems and testing service based application, so you’ll need to be versatile. Longer term there will be more and more services to test against, and more and more very technical work as we move to a software developer in test model. You’ll also be someone who values doing production support, since the team owns the live product too.
