What you will be doing

The Recruitment and Selections Manager will act as the first point of contact for all academic recruitment and will help actively support and contribute to the end-to-end recruitment process for all academic positions within the establishment. You will support the Recruitment Manager with the recruitment strategy, coordinate the end-to-end recruitment and ensure that all activity runs effectively and smoothly.

• advertising and recruiting directly and internally


• keeping up to date with changes to the recruitment practices and ensure efficient and effective running


• placing job adverts on the relevant Job Boards, website, and other relevant media


• build and maintain relationships with agencies and source new agencies where applicable


• negotiate terms and conditions with agencies


• obtaining all pre-employment documentations such as references, eligibility to work in the UK, qualifications etc

What you should be familiar with

• End to end recruitment experience with knowledge of recruiting permanent, temporary and graduate staff


• Evidence of ability to source, shortlisting, recommending candidate suitability and negotiating with recruitment agencies


• Ability to quickly build relationships with managers and senior managers


• Previous educational recruitment experience


• Resilient with strong team working skills and excellent customer service
