Process & MI Analyst - Kaplan International - London W14

We are recruiting a Process and MI Analyst for our global sales operations function. You will be providing support and expertise that is central to driving business growth and performance. The Process MI Analyst oversees and delivers analytics and insight to the global sales and customer service functions, as well as, the development and improvement of related business processes.

As our Process MI Analyst, your role will involve the following:

Analytics

managing the analytics backlog and roadmap, working closely with the Global Sales Operations Director to prioritise work items and update senior stakeholders on progress

managing and developing the reporting database (from numerous data sources)

producing in-depth analysis, summaries, reports presentations

delivering meaningful, commercially valuable analysis, insights and recommend specific actions

promoting a culture of data-driven decision making and proactively informing stakeholders on key trends and performance indicators

working with the senior business stakeholders to identify new reporting requirements

overseeing the delivery and publishing of routine reports and ad hoc requests

developing automated reports and dashboards

examining data integrity and identifing gaps in data set

performing routine data cleansing activities

managing the Analytics Library on Sharepoint

mentoring and developing the Sales Operations Coordinator on junior data analyst activities

acting as the main point of contact for cross-collaboration projects with data analysts in Finance


Sales and Customer Service Process

maintaining an in-depth understanding of our product offering, sales processes, key sales territories and business systems

analyzing and evaluating processes, recommending changes or improvements, and implementing systematic improvement plans

mapping and documenting business processes or systems

identifying and documenting user requirements and stories

acting as Salesforce Administrator – implementing changes and developments to Salesforce CRM, using Agile project development practices

working closely with the Head of Sales Operations and the Training team to rollout new processes and to drive and champion system engagement

maintaining excellent working relationships with key stakeholders across the business (namely in Sales, Customer Service, Finance, IT and Marketing)


About you:To be successful in the role you will have:
experience as a data analyst or related role

knowledge and experience using CRM systems (Salesforce.com) and Visio (or similar diagramming software)

experience producing Management level reporting and presenting findings, including dashboards, charts, MS Powerpoint

stakeholder management, both internal and external, and at a senior level

experience working within a Sales or Customer Service environment, with strong working knowledge of KPIs and tools and systems used within sales customer service environments

experience managing projects, with a proven track record of delivering results

knowledge or familiarity of computing languages and database administration (SQL VBA experience)

ability to collect, organise, manipulate and analyse data from multiple data sources

advanced MS Excel (report automation, macros, VBA skills are essential)

experience writing SQL queries and scripts to organise and interrogate data

an understanding of database systems and database administration (however please note this role is supported by DBAs within the central KIE IT function)

IT literacy and the ability to quickly adapt to and learn new software systems

strong communication and organisation skills

agile Scrum methodology experience (desirable)

bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (desirable)

systems integration project experience (desirable)
