Administrator
My client in the environmental sector is looking to add an administrator to their existing office team. This is a long term opportunity likely to lead to permanent employment.
There is also an option to complete a business administration apprenticeship which will be discussed upon interview.
Although this is a temporary position initially it is very much a long term opportunity and you will receive full training and development support.
Working hour Monday-Friday Full time
Pay: £9.38 per hour
Summary of responsibilities
– Prepare contract reports
– Complete administration tasks to meet compliance
– Ensure messages are accurately recorded and passed to the relevant management
– Accurately process purchase orders
– Supporting sales and purchase ledger functions
– Accurately input payroll
– Assist in preparing any standard letters in line with HR processes
– Take effective notes or minutes in meetings
– Ensure contract safety paperwork is up to date
– Participate in contract and staff meetings
– Provide a first point of contact for the customers in relation to queries and complaints
– Where possible try to resolve queries in the first instance
– Feedback to the primary customers on progress of works
– Assist managers with the preparation of monthly reports
– Other ad-hoc admin duties will be required
If you are right for this role:
– Educated to GCSE level as a minimum
– Reasonable level of verbal and numerical skills
– Have some level of admin experience or strong computer skills
– Clear and confident telephone manner
– Ability to work on own initiative
– Be punctual and reliable
