Job Summary:


The Principal Offering Sales – Applications Executive leads the planning and execution process of selling, qualifying, and closing of large and/or challenging opportunities. You will act as a subject matter expert on both the company and competitor’s application offerings and services in one or more of the following “offering” areas:


  • Application Modernization

  • AMaaS

  • Applications Outsourcing

  • Testing Services

  • Technology Consulting

  • Infrastructure Outsourcing

  • IaaS

  • Networking & Communication

  • Big Data, Analytics

  • Workplace Services

  • Service Management

As a valued member of the team you will also mentors less experienced personnel in sales generation.


You will be focused on the a particular industry – The role of this Offering Sales Specialist is to lead the planning and execution process of selling, identifying, qualifying, and creating sales strategies for sales opportunities in both business and IT terms.


This is a solid career opportunity for an “A” Player who can run Sales Delivery of our portfolio into the retail market place. As Sales Executive you have a successful track record in establishing and maintaining strong trusted advisory relationships. This is a client-facing role that demands professionalism, excellent communication skills, strategic planning and drive. This Executive must have a solid understanding of management consulting, business development and IT solutions and services, plus the ability to address and provide transformation, business process, information technology and outsourcing services to the Retail clients throughout the UK.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Leads sales cycle from start to finish for delivery of business offerings to large or challenging clients. Meets or exceeds annual new business revenue target for an assigned offering within a defined sales territory.

  • Works closely with client relationship and account management team to develop an account development plan for accounts related to the offering.

  • Works across a medium territory to create a market for defined offerings and services, and to qualify and develop opportunities within those markets.

  • Provides pre-sales support to client relationship personnel to drive an offering pipeline of qualified leads across a medium sales territory. Engages with the same to qualify leads into opportunities. Executes the standard sale process through to closure.

  • Addresses complex client business problems through offerings. Develops a compelling value proposition for our solution based on a solid business case and its overall impact on the client’s agenda as well as company goals.

  • Develops strategic business relationships with key decision makers including customer senior management. Builds relationships while positioning company for future prospects.

  • Interfaces with internal department senior management and external partners to develop and implement strategies, plans and business models. Ensures sales solutions meet the needs of customer and company goals.

  • May provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel and sales support team

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:


Essential


  • Seven or more years of business development or sales experience

  • Experience working as a Systems Integrator

  • Experience working with the technology industry

  • Experience working with technology products, services, competencies, solutions, and offerings

  • Experience working with a standard sales methodology and supporting tools and applications

  • Experience working with finance and accounting

Desirable


  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and prospective clients up to the Board level

  • Strong selling and negotiation skills

  • Strong communication skills to listen to the client and articulate back for solutioning

  • Leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel

  • Ability to lead and work in a team environment
