An excellent Primary School based in the heart of Westminster are looking for several Graduate Teaching Assistants.
The School have invested fully into Graduates who are looking to pursue a career within Education and provide an opportunity for these Teaching Assistants to commit to the remainder of this academic year, gaining some invaluable classroom experience.
In particular, the Head teacher and SENCO are seeking a Graduate who is confident and adaptable to work on a 1:1 basis with an autistic pupil.
This role will suit only those who have previous SEN experience.
The Head teacher is keen to meet with the right individual for this pupil, You must ideally have previous SEN experience to really make a positive impact, This pupil is working in class but does require support throughout the day so someone with experience of supporting on a 1:1 basis preferably ASD experience would be an advantage.
You must be empathetic, patient, self-assured and able to work on your own initiative as well as asking for direction as and where needed. This is a really rewarding position for the right individual; please only apply if you are passionate to work within SEN.
This post will be on a 1:1 basis so support will be required full time; you must be able to commit through to the end of this Academic year – at least.
You must be a graduate who is passionate to pursue a career in Education specifically in SEN; you will be part of a very supportive team and able to gain some invaluable School experience. You must be able to commit up to July 2016 for the continuity and progress for this child.
The Child requires continuity so you must be able to commit to a full time post. 5 days per week and for the remainder of this academic year.
