The DEdCPsy team that trains educational psychologists on the initial doctorate programme is well regarded within the region and enjoys good partnership relationships with local colleagues and with other national programme providers. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute both to the Doctor in Educational and Child Psychology (DEdCPsy) initial training programme and the development of the profession.


You will support teaching, practical placements and research supervision for the DEdCPsy course. You must be a qualified HCPC registered Educational Psychologist and have experience in supervising trainee Educational Psychologists and other forms of in-service training.  You will have a good first degree in Psychology plus a higher degree in educational psychology and have significant previous experience of working for a Local Authority Educational Psychology Service. The post is available to start as soon as possible.


You will join the existing tutor team in organising and delivering the full range of activities on the DEdCPsy (Educational Psychology professional training programme), and will contribute to Educational and Child Psychology related teaching within the School of Education. The School of Education is a vibrant research community, and you will become a member of Centre for Critical Educational Psychology.
