Heathway, Dagenham,

Essex

Part time 16

hours per week over 2

Saturday

(week 1

Monday/Friday – week 2

Friday/Saturday)

Put charity at

the heart of the local

community with a Sue

Ryder

shop.

Our growing

number of shops are one

of the most important

ways in which we raise

money to

support people living

through the challenges

of life-changing

illness. So when you

become an Assistant

Manager at one, you’re

not just helping us to

turn a profit – you’re

helping to improve the

lives of the people we

exist to

help.

Our shops are a

much-loved part of the

high street around the

country.

As Assistant

Shop Manager, you’ll

help to create a

well-presented shop

where customers get

great service. It’s a

varied role, offering

invaluable support to

the manager, as you

maximise sales, control

expenditure and handle

stock as part of a

dedicated

team.

To do this, you

need to be organised

and IT-literate, with

natural teamwork

skills. You should also

have a GCSE-level

education, good basic

arithmetic and a gift

for dealing with

people. With these

talents, you’ll

deliver retail

excellence to grow

income and make a

difference to Sue Ryder

Healthcare and the

people we

support.

Sue Ryder provides

incredible hospice and

neurological care for

people facing a

frightening,

life-changing

diagnosis. We do

whatever we can to be a

safety net for our

patients and their

loved ones at the most

difficult time of their

lives. We see the

person, not the

condition.
