Our client seeks a Creative Lead to work onsite at a prestigious professional advisory firm in the City!
Are you a highly experienced, heavyweight creative and versatile Creative Lead with demonstrable experience in delivering strong conceptual print and digital designs? Do you have proven experience in a creative lead role, preferably within a corporate design agency or professional services environment, providing design concepts and creative direction? Job Overview:
As Creative Lead, you will work on-site within a professional services firm alongside a team of four highly skilled and multi-disciplined creative designers and a Studio Manager, who as a team manage a broad range of corporate design projects. You will oversee the creative output and lead the design team with conceptual designs and new ideas. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing in-house design studio and provide creative direction to a dynamic Marketing team.
Digital design experience is required to support the client’s digital comms strategy, so an ability to design cutting edge responsive emails, websites and social media graphics is essential. You should have a great portfolio of engaging UI designs and posses an ability to support the redesign of mobile and web applications. An understanding of all things digital and the possibilities and limitations for design and deployment across digital campaigns is required. You will, from time to time, work alongside a developer on ad-hoc projects. An understanding of filming and photography would also be useful.
You will primarily be responsible for the creative direction of the studio, mentoring junior members of the team and ensuring a high quality creative output which aligns to the client’s briefs and requirements. Project management skills are beneficial and the candidate should have a polite, friendly and can do attitude. Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
Within the studio, creative and digital work within brand guidelines includes the creation print and digital reports, brochures, emails, factsheets, newsletters, event collateral and photography. Working days and hours are Monday to Friday between 9:00am – 5:30pm.
Ideal Fit:
The ideal candidate will have a passion and understanding of digital design in order to support the drive to offer digital design services. You will have a positive, bright, helpful and friendly attitude, plenty of drive, energy, enthusiasm.. You will be a clear, confident and professional communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to communicate and interact with our clients, stakeholders, senior management and colleagues.
Required Experience:
The right candidate will be a heavyweight digital and conceptual designer, experienced in working within a fast-paced, high frequency corporate design agency or professional services environment. You will have proven experience in a creative lead role, providing design concepts and creative direction along with knowledge and experience of layout design, graphic design fundamentals and typography. You will confidently scamp concepts, advise on digital design – social media integration, responsive emails and website design. You will also have a strong working knowledge of print and digital design required to liaise with printers and web developers alike and the ability to lead projects from concept to completion, undertaking concepts, designs or artwork as required; applying best practices and new ideas in user interface and interactive design projects.
To be successful in this role, you must be confident in presenting creative concepts in face-to-face meetings with the client, be Mac literate and have knowledge of the latest Adobe CC suite.
