Events Officer - King's College London - London
The Events Officer in the Faculty of Natural & Mathematical Sciences will work together with the Senior Communications Officer to plan and implement events for the Faculty. They will be responsible for organising Faculty and Department events, managing the Student Ambassadors and supporting event communications. The Events Officer will also work closely with the Digital Officer and other colleagues in the Faculty Office, as well as with professional services and academic staff in the departments of Chemistry, Informatics, Mathematics and Physics. They will report directly to the Senior Communications Officer and Senior Marketing Officer and will be based mainly at the Strand campus in Central London. The successful candidate will be a creative individual with well-developed event planning skills and be highly organized and able to manage multiple events simultaneously. They will be a fluent English speaker and will be capable of adapting their approach to various stakeholders. They will also have experience in strategic planning and web management and will be comfortable training and advising colleagues in event best practice. A passion for the sciences is also desirable. This will be a full time, indefinite post. The salary will be paid at Grade 4, £23,619 to £26,537 per annum plus £2,323 per annum London Weighting Allowance. The selection process will include competency based questions, a written assessment and a panel interview.
