The Role:

My client is a well-established company who have been running for over 40 years, specialising in developing and supplying software solutions into the Accountancy arena. Due to their success and quick expansion they are looking for a Global Sales Executive to specialise in Practice Management Software to come on board and drive the business forward.


They are one of the leading developers and suppliers of Practice Management software into the Accountancy profession. Their clients include regional and national offices of the Big 4 Global firms and members of the main International Account Associations. Since the establishments of their US business, they are also working with an increasing number of the Top 100 UK firms.


This position is a mixture of New Business Development and Account Management, the ideal candidate will have experience of both. It is an opportunity that can offer someone with an excellent track record of success a lucrative outcome within a well-established business.


This is a highly complex software solution and therefore requires an individual that has experience working with a strategic sales role and someone that is able to use their initiative to generate solutions for clients.


Key Responsibilities:


• Identify and create new business opportunities, as well as managing a portfolio of existing accounts (a 50/50 split).


• Be willing to travel internationally, sometimes at short notice. Around 40% of this role is spent outside of the UK.


• Work closely with the CEO to help grow the footprint of the software solutions.


• Work in a strategic manner to build client relationships, sales cycles can take on average 6-9 months.


• Be aware of situation with regard to competition.


Experience required:


The ideal candidate will have solid experience of field sales and have proven success at their previous roles. It is essential that this individual has at least 5 years proven sales experience in an established IT solution market, ideally international and with previous experience of selling in the US – although not essential. This opportunity will suit someone that has great listening ability and aptitude for anticipating clients’ needs to benefit the business.


Location: This is a home based position, although this role will involve a considerable amount of International travel – mainly to the US and Caribbean.


£50-70k – £150K OTE.
