Penalty Notice and School Attendance Order Officer - London Borough of Redbridge - Ilford

The Education Welfare Service is looking for an innovative, highly skilled individual to join our dedicated team.

• To work within the legislative framework of the Education Act 1996
  


• To ensure that children and young people are in receipt of a suitable education.
  


• To ensure that the School Attendance Order process is completed within designated timeframes.
  


• To assist in the consideration of incoming penalty notice requests for cases of poor attendance and assist the Operational Manager in ensuring that the Code of Conduct is applied consistently and fairly across the Local Authority.
  

The post holder must have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
