Kirkwood Road Supported Living Service opened in January 2016, and is based in Nunhead/Peckham SE15. The service offers high support rehabilitation to 12 people with complex mental health needs over two years, and is delivered using the Recovery Model, in-line with the choice and personalisation agenda. We are seeking a Rehab Worker (Food-cooking) with a passion for all things food. You will be a competent cook, able to support clients with health and diet, and to plan and prepare meals both one-to-one or as a group. With excellent communication skills, experience in mental health and an understanding of psychosis, you will be able to build effective trusting relationships to support clients to manage their mental health conditions and to overcome challenges. ** Hours are Monday to Friday, 12 noon – 7.30 pm, with occasional weekend working. ** You will be joining an organisation committed to employee engagement, where every employee is valued and listened to.
