Role Purpose:
The successful candidate will primarily be supporting 3 members of the London Sales Team to help produce accurate, highly professional tender proposals, presentations and PQQ’s.
Role Requirements:

Competitive salary, paid monthly, 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays and potential company bonus.
Working Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 hours, with a 30 minutes lunch break.
Based from our Head Office in City Road, London, EC1V 1LR (a short walk from Angel Tube Station)
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, highly competent and enthusiastic tender administrator to assist with the writing and submission of tenders.
This is a great opportunity to join a very successful, expanding organisation. The ideal candidate will be someone with excellent writing skills, the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Previous experience in Bids and Tenders will be essential.
Specific Duties:
– The analysis of customer tender documentation in order to structure Axis Security bid responses according to instructions and specifications and to maximise the chances of winning new business.
– To review all bid documentation prior to bid submission to identify areas for improvement in content and presentation, ensuring consistency of style, key messages and solution description throughout the bid.
– Re-write/edit proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders.
– Identify, re-work existing pre-written content where relevant.
– Carry out research (web based or otherwise) on clients and/or prospects to aid and tailor the written responses.
– Attend site visits if necessary to aid responses.
– Proof read response documents prior to submission.
– Assist with PowerPoint presentations.
– Respond to PQQ’s in a professional, timely manner.
– Organise and manage computer files.
– Deliver administration support as requested by the Sales Team and Marketing Manager, and carry out all of these requests in a timely and accurate manner.
– Carry out other projects/duties as required.
– Being able to work as part of a bid team or individually.
– Being able to communicate effectively with other staff involved with the bid.
– Able to work to tight deadlines whilst producing an excellent standard of work.
– Willing to interact with the team and offer suggestions, innovation and ways to continuously improve.
Essential criteria to meet:
– Experience of bid writing is essential
– Excellent MS Office experience
– Excellent written and oral communication skills
– Excellent English/literature/grammar
– Strong time management / prioritisation skills
Desirable criteria to meet:
– InDesign software experience
– Bid writing qualifications/training
– English language/English literature qualification
