Procurement and Fleet Manager - One Housing Group - London E2

One Direct is the internal maintenance service company to manage and carry out repairs and maintenance. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of One Housing Group which owns over 16,000 properties across London, the South East and Home Counties. One Direct has been created to offer better value for money for customers and to ensure that repairs and maintenance work is being carried out to a high standard.

As Procurement and Fleet Manager you will be responsible for managing and monitoring the procurement of goods and services in a cost effective way. You will take a strategic view for the procurement goods to support the Commercial Services Director to meet value for money targets. In addition you will:

• Oversee the procurement of goods and services in an effective, efficient and economical way to achieve value for money for One Direct
  


• Provide advice, guidance and support throughout One Direct to ensure procurement processes are compliant, effective, and efficient and provide best possible value.
  


• Ensure procurement is achieved in accordance with statutory regulations and good practice guidance
  


• Responsible for the management of the One Direct fleet of vehicles
  

To be successful you must have knowledge and experience of procurement legislation, have strong financial and budgetary control, the ability to negotiate effectively to achieve the best possible result, and experience of construction contracts and tendering processes. A relevant professional qualification such as CIPS/RICS with post qualification experience would also be of advantage.
