A exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader or a Senior Carer that is currently team leading to work in residential home for elderly adults who have a variety of needs including dementia.

The company is looking for a Team Leader or Senior Carer that is currently team leading that have experience with Dementia and at least one year in their senior role.

They are looking for a Team Leader or Senior Carer that is currently team leading that thrives on responsibility and is passionate about the role therefore when handing over at the end of the shift to the day manager they have managed the night shift completely.

This role will be working NIGHTS 8pm – 8am, 3 nights on and 4 nights off, over 7 days however this is flexible. There is also plently of overtime to be worked if you wish to work it.

You will be required to;

•shift lead
•organise medication
•allocate duties
•update care plans & risk assessments
•supervise carers
•deal with any staffing issues
•ensure all residents are well and happy prior to end of shift
•handover at the end of the shift with

As well as having experience of the above, you will also need to be up to date with full mandatory training.

Applicant must have the following requirements;
•NVQ2 in Health and Social Care, although NVQ3 would be an advantage

•Completed all mandatory training

•Good communication skills (verbal and written)

•Enjoy being active and supporting people in the community

•Enjoy working creatively with clients

•Ability to work alone and as part of a team
