This means that you will be directly involved in working with candidates and clients to successfully meet their recruitment needs whilst simultaneously reaping extensive financial rewards.

The Role-

The role of a Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultant is varied and challenging and requires somebody with a resilient nature who is able to be motivated and drive themselves to succeed. In order to be effective in your role it is helpful to have experience in one if not all of the following;

• Business to Business sales


• Cold calling


• Target driven environment


• Sales


• Business development


• Relationship building


• 6-12+ months in a related sales or recruitment role

Core Skills-

The core skills of a Recruitment Consultant are as important as the role itself. You will need to have a competitive nature, be highly motivated, resilient, driven and have excellent communication skills. Having discretion and being able to manage a large and at times complicated workload are key attributes of a successful recruiter. The work you put in directly reflects the reward you receive.
