Commercial Consultants (UK) Ltd – The Engineering Recruitment Specialists are working closely with a market leader in the PCV Transportation industry on an exclusive assignment to secure a Bus Mechanic / PSV Technician / HGV Engineer to be based in one of their North London Engineering Workshops.

The Bus Mechanic / PSV Technician / HGV Engineer will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering including strong fault finding experience and the ability to diagnose faults using schematics, diagrams, the latest diagnostic and test equipment.

Experience on PSV, PCV, HGV or commercial vehicles is preferred but not essential for the role as the Bus Mechanic / PSV Technician / HGV Engineer will be developed into being competent in the following areas:

• Inspecting and maintaining PSV / PCV / Buses to company standards


• Diagnosing faults efficiently and effectively by road testing vehicles using the latest diagnostic and test equipment


• Undertaking planned and preventative maintenance to ensure the fleet of buses remains roadworthy.

The work will involve maintenance, servicing and overhauling commercial vehicles and the successful Bus Mechanic / PSV Technician / HGV Engineer must demonstrate the ability to work to the high standards set by this market leader along with VOSA and other stakeholders.
