£31,500 – £35,000 per annum + overtime + travel
CCUK is proud to be recruiting for a market leading Bus Transportation and Logistics Company. Further to industry changing developments within their engineering department, they are looking to recruit competent Vehicle Mechanics from disciplines other than PCV and HGV.
If you are a Vehicle Mechanic who has experience with inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of vehicles such as cars, vans, trucks, LGV, HGV, buses, plant equipment or even aircraft; I want to hear from you!
Our client provides full training for Vehicle Mechanics who are from relatable engineering sectors such as light vehicle, plant, agriculture and aviation. Upon completing the fully expensed training, the Vehicle Mechanic will obtain an industry recognised qualification (IRTEC Service Maintenance Technician) and will then be expected to successfully complete the following:
- Maintenance, servicing and overhauling of Commercial Vehicles (Bus / PCV / PSV)
- Vehicle inspections to standards set by VOSA and company requirements
- Fault finding and diagnostics using manual and laptop devises along with rectification
- Road testing of buses
- Preventative maintenance and repairs of the company’s fleet of Buses
