Evidence Management Officer - Thames Valley Police - Windsor
An opportunity has arisen for an EMU Officer to work at Windsor Police Station. The purpose of the role is to receive all crime and drug property from police officers to ensure safe storage and documentation. Experience of working in a customer service environment is essential.
The EMU Officer will also be responsible for the day to day line management of the EMU Assistant and monitoring of their performance. Previous supervisory skills are therefore desirable.
The EMU Officer will be responsible for maintaining records for all property coming into Police possession, they will be competent in the use of Word, Excel and Outlook and be able to input, retrieve and present data using computer systems.
Other essential qualities are the ability to remain calm under pressure, work with minimal supervision, excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills, and understand the need for confidentiality.
