Our client is seeking to recruit a Manager – Events Sponsorship, responsible for driving sponsorship revenue across a series of internationally recognised events.
They offer a global series of programs which attract an influential audience from the world’s most forward-thinking brands and agencies,
The Role
To develop, lead and manage all sponsorship/commercial activities of the events business both in the UK and internationally and to develop and implement a sustainable growth focused sales sponsorship strategy that will ensure year on year incremental revenues across the portfolio of events
Responsibilities:
Devise, develop and implement the sales sponsorship strategy for the business and deliver sales/revenue targets. This will include being personally responsible for achieving targets and sponsorship revenue.
Identify and develop new opportunities and industry partnerships
Write and confidently present business proposals and liaise with the global head of marketing to ensure that all brand and product credentials are aligned with the sales strategy
Explore, develop and maintain an excellent understanding of key client audience and purchasing profiles to ensure all existing and future need are met
The Person
3 – 5 years as a sponsorship sales manager
Significant and demonstrable experience in developing sponsorship sales strategies that deliver accelerated sales revenue
Personal Attributes:
This role requires an individual with strong interpersonal skills and an ability to convey complex ideas with simplicity, clarity and conviction.
This is a role that requires strong desire to be able to personally contribute to the sales growth by pitching and closing sponsorship deals
