Location: Barking Autocentre

Salary: £22,000 – £26,000 + bONUS + extensive benefits

A Vehicle Technician’s job at Halfords Autocentres is unlike anything you will find in a traditional service or aftersales department.

The Job:
Within our Autocentres no two days are ever the same and on any day, you can expect to encounter almost any make of car for almost every piece of work.

* Servicing, inspections and MOT testing
* Complex repair work and diagnostics

The Technician:
There is no typical Halfords Autocentre Technician, however our quality orientated environment does mean that our ideal Technicians would possess:
* NVQ or City & Guilds qualifications

A successful Halfords Autocentre Vehicle Technician or Mechanic is adaptable and flexible and enjoys the challenge of coming across and resolving new problems every day.

Our Technicians come from a variety of backgrounds; Mobile Mechanics, Skilled Technicians and Master Technicians from independents, fast-fits and dealers, from mobile to roadside.
