A very supportive central London school are looking for a graduate teaching assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with SEN.

The successful candidate will be supporting a pupil in reception class who is visually impaired.

This will require someone who is very confident in supporting a visually impaired child so Braille experience is preferred but is NOT essential.

This role may face its challenges so somebody patient and empathetic with the pupil being new to the School so requires a lot of support and guidance but the benefits and rewards are outstanding -seeing this pupil really making excellent progress.

This role will give a great insight to a future career within Education, allowing you to work closely with class Teachers and the SENCO ensuring the pupil has the opportunity to achieve to his full potential.

You will be building rapport and seeing the pupil achieve.

A Graduate Teaching Assistant who is confident, empathic and enthusiastic would really suit this position.

This is an excellent opportunity to allow a future Teacher to gain some invaluable SEN experience.
