Head of Digital Marketing / Digital Marketing Manager - Adam - Greater London
You will have had experience managing online marketing budgets of £1m+ for a transactional online business, with responsibility for using online marketing to drive sales/booking growth. you will be comfortable in the detail, planning and structuring accounts, and at the same time be able to develop strategic longer term plans.
You will be familiar with all elements of online marketing, and be keen to learn the things you don’t know while seeking support from external sources where necessary. You will be comfortable working to volume & ROI targets, and be able to work on your own initiative to achieve the set goals.
You will be confident in your ability to multitask and prioritise.
You will have excellent analytical skills and be confident using excel as well as Google Analytics.
You will be supported by experienced online marketing professionals, who will assist in formulating and shaping the strategy, and supporting on any additional skills and knowledge you may need to get the job done. Over time you will develop a ‘best in class’ marketing function to help drive the business growth.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
*Develop and manage all aspects of the paid search campaigns including planning, executing, reporting and tracking activities across multiple search engines on an ongoing basis to ensure all KPIs are met.
*Devise and implement a structured approach to ongoing testing and optimisation of paid search activities and bid management strategies.
*Analyse and report upon paid search performance on a regular basis for all relevant KPIs to management and relevant areas of the business to provide insight.
*Maintain an in-depth understanding of the paid search landscape to identify and execute opportunities for growth.
*Implement a programmatic function within the business, using all available data to continually improve performance across display and retargeting including social media
*Develop the email marketing and customer communication, function, harnessing customer data to drive continually improved performance and continually increase customer repeat rate. Develop an in depth knowledge of all email marketing including the factors that drive deliverability, open, click through and conversion rates, inbox placement, SPF, DKIM & DMARC.
*Develop and improve the affiliate marketing function, working on the in house program and 3rd party affiliate network to develop great relationships with high value affiliates able to deliver incremental bookings.
*Monitor and report on SEO performance, working with 3rd parties where necessary to implement changes to improve performance.

*Strong commercial acumen, highly numerate and analytical with a passion for analysis and the ability to turn the data into actions. You like reports and numbers but only when they help you to achieve your goals.
*Experience of using google analytics or other web analysis platforms
*Excellent Excel skills, (You find spending time with Excel a pleasure not a chore)
*Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work towards tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment. You take ownership of the task, you are results driven, you take pride in a job well done and you don’t like to fail.
*Knowledge & understanding of SQL. Though not essential, a basic knowledge will be useful for this role.
*Experience managing paid search campaigns, programmatic, retargeting, email marketing, SEO and affiliates highly desirable, you will have an in-depth knowledge and experience of some elements of online marketing, and be keen to learn the things you haven’t yet been heavily involved in.
*Strong presentational skills, communicating clear and concise findings, recommendations and conclusions. You will need to present your failures as well as your successes.
*A degree or background in an analytical field such as Maths, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science would also be an asset.
