Who we are
OTHER SOLUTIONS Consulting (OSC) is a risk-management company which works closely with the humanitarian and development sectors. We have our main offices in Canada Water in London, and operate a dynamic and growing company with a small team.
We offer services in operational support, trainings, crisis management, and analysis. We work with a large pool of international experts, and specialise in MENA, sub-Saharan Africa, and Central Asia.
The position
The Office Manager/Field Operations at OSC is a partly support, partly operational role within a fast paced, dynamic environment. The OMFO works closely with OSC Director, OSC Head of Research, the Analysis team, as well as external stakeholders and partners.
This challenging role is a varied one, and requires a proactive, multitasking individual who is London-based. It is expected that there will be an additional junior administrator staff, which will be managed by the OMFO.
Specific aspects of the role:
Office Management:
· Management of the office (premises, work environment)
· Finance (keeping clean financial records, producing reports and analyses)
· HR (producing contracts, maintaining internal and confidential HR files)
· Communication (contributing to communication tools, maintaining web pages)
· Business support (preparing responses to tenders, acting as administrative point of contact for clients)
· Support/PA to the Director
Field Operations:
· Remote managing of consultancy missions, including supporting consultants
· Networking and maintaining external relations with clients and customers
· Possibility of training missions on the field (depending on experience)
