Research Assistant

Applications are welcomed for this 12 month fixed term role from applicants with a background in nursing or psychology. The successful applicant for this post will work with Prof. Thanos Karatzias and in close collaboration with colleagues from NHS on a number of projects on psychological therapies for psychological trauma and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder.

Essential skills include interviewing and assessment skills for research purposes, excellent communication skills, quantitative and qualitative data collection, data analysis and report writing as well as administrative skills. Previous experience of working as a research assistant is essential. The successful applicant should also be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and to deadlines.
