Superb opportunity for National Account Manager (FMCG exp preferred) to join Sales division of a market leading consumer manufacturer with Global Head Office in West London.
Ideally you will be a National Account Manager already, or a National Account Executive, have a strong track record in Sales (FMCG preferable), and have experience of managing some of the UK’s largest Retailers e.g. – Tesco/Wilkinsons/WH Smith/Amazon.
Main areas of Responsibility will be:
– Providing leadership and primary point of contact for the customer – both internal and external
– Providing timely, accurate and in depth analytics on account performance
– Achieving growth for portfolio of brands by developing, agreeing and executing strategies that focus both on push and pull activities.
– Growing distribution of the core branded portfolio through both permanent planogram space and seasonal displays
Key Skills Required:
– 3+ years of National Account sales and / or marketing experience
– Experience managing national retail customers at head office level
– Track record of POS Merchandising and impact on Sales
– Ability to effectively monitor category performance versus plan and communicate accordingly
– Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written – savvy, concise and quick witted
– Excellent IT skills. Good Excel and PowerPoint are a pre-requisite together with proven experience of drilling into data to recommend a plan of action
This is a home based Sales role (Head office 2 days per week) and the successful NAM will have complete autonomy to run and develop their National Accounts, reporting directly into the National Sales Controller.
