The School of Psychological Sciences, seeks to appoint enthusiastic and innovative Teaching Focused Lecturers to support the provision of the BSc Psychology programme for a fixed period of 12 months. Course units on the degree are organised around four key themes and the teaching duties associated with the posts will fall primarily, though not exclusively, within our Mind and Brain theme which covers topics in cognition and neuroscience. This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of the leading Universities in the UK and to further develop skills and experience in teaching, assessing, supervising and supporting students in a Higher Education context.

You will hold a first degree and PhD (or equivalent) in Psychology (or with Psychology as a major component) and be willing to contribute to a broad range of undergraduate course units drawing on experimental methods in Psychology. You will have experience of delivering research-informed teaching, assessing students’ work and providing constructive written feedback. In addition, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be committed to providing a positive student experience.
