Based in the heart of London, our client is one of the UK’s leading educational organisations. They are now looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their Information Service (IS) Department.

As the Senior Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of our client’s technical projects.

In this important role, you’ll help to ensure the successful delivery of a challenging mix of corporate and teaching systems.

The Project Management Team acts as the interface between internal customers, service owners and technical staff, meaning you’ll dealing with staff and students to articulate their needs and ensure that projects deliver expected outcomes.

Monitoring resources, you’ll develop a benefits, risk and cost model of proposed changes and ensure that the technical components of projects are delivered in-line with commercial and legal restraints.

As many systems are provided by external companies, a key aspect of your role will also involve building strong, long-lasting relationships with these providers.

To be considered, you must be educated to degree level with a qualification in project management at a professional level or equivalent practical experience in a systems enabled business change environment.

Analytical and forward-thinking, as the Senior Project Manager, you must have exceptional communication skills. Excellent time-management, prioritisation and organisational abilities are also key.

Ideally, you’ll have Agile project management experience, but this is by no means essential. A qualification in enterprise architecture or business analysis would also be advantageous.
