UK Car Sales Executive (Paddington, London)
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the UK car market with a strong focus on bringing new clients on board to grow our market reach. With an existing client base of over 100 clients, there is also a degree of account management involved in this role. This exciting position is at the centre of our team and is responsible for a large percentage of yearly revenue.
We are looking for a results-driven individual with high performance focus, solid work ethic and a clear passion and energy for business. With commission available on each piece of business achieved this is a role where you get out what you put in, overachievement is always highly rewarded.
The role also will allow the successful candidate the chance to balance the choice between our serviced office in Paddington and from home, but will be expected to arrange and attend weekly client meetings.
Your Tasks:
- Analyse and identify key customers (existing and potential) in the assigned territories
- Account Management and increase presence of key clients on the website
- Contact new business and promote advertising within our marketplace
- Schedule sales activities and trips to attend classic lifestyle events throughout the year
- Source and develop customer referrals
- Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports, (a knowledge of Salesforce is highly desirable)
- Monitor competitors and market conditions
- Attend team meetings and share best practice with colleagues
- Willingness to travel frequently
YOUR PROFILE:
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and have at least one year experience in a sales position along with being able to meet the following requirements.
- Minimum 1 year of sales experience with a track record of winning new business
- Excellent communication skills
- Professional demeanour, selling style and appearance
- Self motivated and driven to make money
- Strong personal skills to build and maintain lasting customers relationships
- An interest in cars is desirable but not required
