Oxfam works with others to overcome poverty and suffering. As an Oxfam employee, you will join a team of professionals that is part of the international confederation of 18 organizations networked together in more than 90 countries.
This is an exciting role to lead a partnership, initially funded by DFID with the Feinstein International Centre at Tufts University, focused on improving access to humanitarian evidence by humanitarian policy makers and practitioners through a series of evidence synthesis products. The Programme Manager is responsible for the overall management and delivery of the programme, as well as leading on the communication of the findings of the work.
This project is funded to December 2016 with the aim of producing high quality research synthesis products (8 evidence synthesis following a systematic review design), which address priority questions in relation to “what works” and “what do we know” in humanitarian crisis interventions. This post will need to adapt and continue to implement a research communication strategy in order to ensure practitioners, policy-makers, decision-makers and opinion formers in the humanitarian space have access to these synthesis products. More information on the programme can be found at www.oxfam.org.uk/hep
