You will be involved in a large international research project (funded by the European Research Council) investigating the mechanisms by which children learning Hindi acquire their native language; focussing particularly on sentence structure. You should have a First or 2:1 degree (or non-UK equivalent) in Psychology, Linguistics or relevant discipline, speak Hindi to a native (or near-native-like) level, with experience of working with children (ideally as young as 3). Experience of conducting experimental child-language studies would also be desirable.
