Store Manager




Title: Store Sales Manager
Salary: £27,000 Plus £6000 commission
Location: Greenwich


Hours: Monday to Saturday 8.00am to 7.00pm. Sunday 10.00am -4.00pm You will be required to work a rota’d 5 day week of 40 hours


Our Client who are a huge well-known brand with over 100 stores across the UK have an exciting opportunity for a Store Sales Manager to operate a busy team/store in Greenwich. You will contribute to supporting the company’s success by growing sales, developing and engaging the team, whilst achieving store objectives and targets.


Responsibilities:


Driving Sales and Deliver standards:


Personally sell and ensure team members sell in line with the company sales model
Demonstrate excellence using the company selling model
Ensure the team positively promotes and sells all products and services
Review performance of the store monthly, in advance of monthly performance review with regional manager


Put in place actions to drive business performance and increase revenue
Manage enquiries effectively to maximise customer contact and conversion
Complete bi-weekly competitor checks to highlight any significant changes
Comply with all company store policies and procedures detailed in the operations manual
Maintain high level of store and people presentation in line with the companies way Is friendly, positive and enthusiastic towards customers and their requests
Asks relevant questions to understand what customers want and by when
Checks and clarifies details with customers to avoid misunderstanding and manages expectations in a professional way


Management:
Ensure all team members have 5-8 one to one progress and performance discussions and two performance evaluations per year with their line manager
Train and help the store team to develop their skills and behaviours to achieve success
Support & energise the store team through monthly team meetings
To review the activities of the month
To set the priorities of the store for the following month
To highlight the key successes and recognise performance of the best performing individuals each month
Monitor individual performance to ensure all team members are consistently performing well
Identify performance issues and set corrective actions


Experiences and Skills:


Passionate about sales and driving a store forward
High self-motivated with the ability to motivate others
Extremely target orientated with a hunger to be successful
Strong managerial skills, likes to lead by example
Impeccable presentation
Very operational, able to co-ordinate every function within a store
Strong communication skills, demonstrates the highest standard of customer service
